CrewBlu@[name of our allied club] is a para rowing programme run by CrewBlu. Para rowing (formally adaptive rowing) is a category of rowing and racing for individuals with diverse physical, sensory or intellectual abilities. The basic techniques of para rowing are similar to standard rowing, but may include modifications to equipment, to coaching technique or to programme structure.
CrewBlu’s programmes are run by experienced coaches & rowers with backgrounds in sports, health and education. Our programmes cover many different aspects of rowing, including gym work, indoor rowing technique as preparation for rowing on the water, learning how to handle boats and rowing equipment and, of course, rowing on the river.
